Yeah, yeah, yeah...another glacier... another waterfall... another mountain... another valley... another lake... Wait!  Oh My God!  Look at that!!

Just when I thought Norway had no more surprises...

The Church at Oppstryn set against the Tinderfjellbreen, the Tystigbreen reflecting in the deep lake at its base, the town of Geiranger nestled against the stupendous backdrop of mountains and glaciers, the mountain cabins perched on a high plateau with no roads to them at all, the house held down to its foundation with cables bolted into the stone, a terrifying climb with no guardrails (just a sheer drop straight down at the immediate edge of the road which was carved in the mountainside) up to Dalsnibba, 1,500 meters above havet where the freezing, ferocious wind repeated made me think I would literally be blown off of my feet, and ending the day in this warm, lodge frequented by serious skiers the world over.

The sheer drama of these settings is unparalleled.
