I took these pictures on the way from Solstrand to Balestrand.

The city of Bergen, an ancient fishing village, experiences rain 260 days of the year. I was there on one of them.

This is the largest city in the country of Norway.

These pictures were taken on the drive from Grotli back to Oslo the day before I flew home.

These pictures were taken on the drive from Oslo to Geilo, a stop over on the long drive to the fjords.

I took these pictures along the 9 mile hike to and from the glacier. Because of extreme weather conditions, I only took a few pictures while hiking on the glacier. This was, without doubt, the adventure of a lifetime!

I took these pictures along the way to the Hotel Grotli, probably my favorite hotel because of its quaintness and isolation. This photo album contains pictures of some of the more extreme countryside.

These beautiful views from the hotel were insipirational to Edvard Grieg as he composed in his small cabin which still remains on the grounds of the hotel.

A short ride on the cable car yields some astounding views of the island of Tromsø below.
