The drama of this landscape is astounding, unlike anything I've ever seen before:  from bleak and barren to lush green, from jagged sheer cliffs to gushing, rushing waterfalls, from high glaciers to flat lakes.  

The countryside is expansive and immense.  A photograph insults its grandeur.
