A friend's wind ensemble earned the honor of a debut at Carnegie Hall. I made a site-seeing trip out of the experience!

I have really grown to love the North Carolina mountains. They serve as a haven from the heat and bustle of the city. These pictures were shot in and around the cabin's large garden.

I took my first vacation in California during the Christmas holidays and took over 3,000 pictures in just 5 days. These are some (260!) of the pictures from San Francisco.

Located just a mile or two south of Carmel, California, on Route 1, Point Lobos  was called "the greatest meeting of land and water in the world" by  landscape artist Francis McComas. Breathtaking!

Located about 100 miles south of San Francisco, California, on Route 1, Carmel is a quaint ocean-side town for which Clint Eastwood once was mayor.

Without doubt, Gary has the hottest car in Atlanta! It eats asphalt for dessert. These pictures were shot on a sunny day in February, 2008. But, because of my move to California, they are being posted in April.

After spending the last 20 years in Atlanta, Georgia, it was now or never for "the big adventure!" These are the first pictures taken as a resident of the beautiful state of California.
